Behind La Femme est Magique
Three years, one rethink, a chance conversation with a wine dealer, and the rosé we always wanted to drink.
The idea for our rosé first came to life three years ago.
At the time, we were seeing more and more overpriced rosé wines dominating the market, beautifully branded, highly visible, but often disappointing when it came to the wine itself. We wanted to create something different: a rosé that looked beautiful, tasted exceptional, and still felt accessible.
Originally, the concept was going to be called Screaming Devil. But after spotting a very similar name already on the shelves last year, we knew it was time to rethink, refine, and finally bring the idea to life properly.
Around that same time, we found ourselves chatting with a family friend who happened to be a wine dealer. We started discussing the rise of a certain rosé with two farmyard animals on the label - a wine that had completely taken the market by storm. It sparked a bigger conversation about branding, perception, and what people really wanted from a rosé wine.
That conversation stayed with us.
We didn't want to create just another bottle for the shelf. We wanted to create a wine people genuinely loved drinking. Something elegant, fresh, beautifully balanced, and effortlessly enjoyable. A wine you'd proudly order, gift, or be seen drinking with friends, without the inflated price tag that so often comes with premium rosé.
Then we were introduced to Ray, our Master of Wine, and that's where the real journey began.
There were endless tastings, researching, refining, changing direction, changing vineyards, agreeing, disagreeing, rejecting wines we thought were "almost there" and then starting all over again. It was a process of patience, precision, and passion.
But eventually, La Femme est Magique was born.
From the very beginning, we knew this wine needed to stand for something more.
Through building our other business, we've seen firsthand what happens when women genuinely support and uplift one another - the confidence, strength, and energy that comes from those connections is incredibly powerful. That spirit became the heart of this brand.
La Femme est Magique, The Woman is Magic, represents exactly that.
The name, the artwork, and the feeling behind the wine were all created to celebrate confidence, femininity, friendship, and joy.
Because this is about more than just wine.
It's about those moments you never want to end… sitting with your best friends, drinking rosé in the sunshine, laughing until your stomach hurts, sharing stories, making memories, and being completely present in the moment.
A wine built on confidence, connection, and fun.
